Overview
A Private Line service is a private data connection securely connecting two or more locations with high data speeds. Private line service provides unparalleled quality of service (QoS) as it is not a shared service and follows the same direct private line network path every time. Private Line circuits are used by businesses to provide reliable, secure point to point data service for applications including credit card processing, file sharing, data backup, point to point VOIP, and video conferencing. Private Line services can also be configured to carry voice, video, Internet, and data services together over the same private line network connection.
Benefits
Comprehensive Portfolio. As a leading provider of facilities-based, local-to-global-to-local services, MLTC offers a comprehensive portfolio of PLS solutions to accommodate virtually any type of application.
Extensive Fiber Optic Network. MLTC provides a 100 percent fiber optic metropolitan network enabling customers to transmit different types of data simultaneously across the network. The MLTC global network has the ability to serve customers' requirements with "in country" international telecommunications representatives in over 60 countries around the world, and offers:
Low Risk. Because MLTC is currently providing PLS under FTS2001, MLTC has a proven track record that will help ensure that new Networx customers (and those transitioning from FTS2001) will have the solution they need when they need it?and with extremely low risk.
Experience. As one of the world?s largest providers of current FTS2001 services, MLTC has both the experience and the capabilities required to deliver PLS.
End-to-End Circuit Monitoring. The MLTC PLS solution includes comprehensive monitoring of circuits (T-1 and higher bandwidths) from the MLTC POP. This capability allows MLTC to collect network performance data from the customer facility via the digital cross-connect systems located at the MLTC POP, which is then delivered to centralized servers located at various Network Management Centers.
Flexibility: Managed or Bulk Services. The MLTC PLS includes Managed Services (MLTC provides the circuit and the end-point equipment) and Bulk Services (customers will provide their own terminating devices). The result is flexibility that meets the full range of customer needs.
